Poe is an Amazing writer and with the this story, it felt that the everything came to life. Even if all his stories have a great deal on making it extra scary and realistic, Poe is just awesome. In the story, "The Cast of Amontillado" it was about a guy, Montresor, who hated this other guy, Fortunato, and was planning to kill him. So Montresor took him to a basement at a party to look for some good strong drinks and there Montresor got Fortunato drunk and stuck him behind a wall which would be his grave. This was really intense and one of the best stories I loved. This also shows that there are crazy people u think are nice and friendly but have something dark hidin that they might want to let out and come after the person.
